How long does this process take?
Often, we can set you up in a few days.

If you are in a more remote location or have a more complex setup, it might take longer, but still can be done within a couple of weeks.

How much does it cost to apply?
Applying is free!

We may ask you to cover the costs of travel for your initial inspection, but that amount will be deducted from your first year’s certification fee.

What does the process entail?
Application – Give us your contact information and and overview of your manufacturing process.
Initial Inspection – A member of our team will visit your facility to assess what is necessary to set up your Kosher program.
Ingredient and Product Approval – Our team will help you register your raw materials and finished products. If there are issues with any materials use, we will help you source acceptable substitutes.
Certification Agreement – We will send you an agreement with the terms of your Kosher program.
You are certified! – Once your account is activated, you will be able to download and print Kosher certificates for your products using KVHWEB, our convenient online portal.
