Doorknock Dinner

Our mission here at Doorknock Dinner is to make families lives easier by providing quality home-cooked meals.Doorknock Dinner was established in 2005 after I had been in the childcare industry for over 20 years. I provided home daycare and found many parents through the years rushing home to make dinner or even stopping at a fast food restaurant to grab “something quick.” When I would be preparing dinner awaiting parent pickup, the aroma’s would grab the attention of the parents and friends arriving to rush home to their empty kitchens or frenzied supermarket sweep. I started to send home a plate or a recipe with these families and this is when I realized I could take two of the things I enjoy the most and combine them!

We may have started small, however the number of families we feed each week is outstanding. With over 500 email recipients receiving our weekly specials and updates, we have adopted young and old, single and married, no children to 6 six children families and more, who order our meals, snacks, baked goods and more, and have them delivered to their home or office.

In 2009, my dreams turned bigger and unfolded as we opened our first commercial kitchen on First Parish Road in Norwell. On one side of the door, there are meals being freshly prepared and on the other, is my family. I’m blessed to have such a wonderful opportunity!

We are proud of our team at Doorknock Dinner and strive to make your experience always positive and delicious! Our delivery driver has been a part of Doorknock Dinner for just over 8 years. This is something our customers love! Knowing their meals will be delivered by the same person each week, builds rapports and friendships. It’s just another great part of Doorknock Dinner! Currently I have 3 cafes in Braintree and a retail location in Norwell Ma. We also obtained our wholesale licnce over 3 years ago and are in small markets shelves and freezer sections!
